Front Desk Agent
The Hotel Northampton is looking for a Front Desk Agent to proudly serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation.
The Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. Ultimately, you will take pride in creating a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. Some of your responsibilities and the qualities we are looking for in a candidate:
- Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises.
- Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations. Handle customer complaints in a highly professional way as needed.
- Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests’ needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, or special requests.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $15.00 -$18.00 per hour

Room attendant – Housekeeping
We are seeking qualified candidates to fill room attendant positions in our housekeeping department.
Room attendants are responsible for the cleaning and care of our guest rooms and must pay close attention to detail.
Hours are flexible, but weekends are required.

Bell person
The Hotel Northampton is hiring a bell person to provide helpful and efficient service to guests in the lobby area. This is an entry-level position that is great for someone looking to begin a career in hospitality!
Bell person Responsibilities:
- Assisting guests with luggage and escorting to rooms as requested
- Cleaning of hotel lobby and main entrances
- Vacuuming of stairs leading to and from lobby area
- Cleaning and restocking of supplies where necessary.
- Prompt delivery of amenities to guest rooms (i.e., towels, soap, cots, etc.)
- Pleasant and helpful demeanor always
- Eagerness to offer outstanding customer service to all guests.
Job Types: Part-time
Salary: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 hours per week.
Schedule: Weekends and one day
